Frontier Precision, a leading Trimble Distribution Partner for Geospatial products and services covering the Upper Midwest and Rocky Mountain regions, is currently searching for hard-working, motivated individuals looking for a successful career as a Support & Training Specialist for our Geospatial Survey Division.
The primary responsibility for this position is to provide phone, email and in-person technical support for Trimble Geospatial products and software. Additional duties will include supporting the sales process, conducting product installs at customer locations, teaching standard and customized certified training courses. This position will also be tasked with creating training materials and content, procedure sheets and how-to videos and demonstrations. Some overnight travel will be required.
Candidates are required to have a background in Land Surveying/Civil Engineering and/or Mapping and GIS. Candidates must also possess strong computer skills, time management and organizational skills, have the ability to engage with customers, and must be able to speak and present in a public setting. A minimum two year degree in a related field and 1-2 years experience with Trimble Geospatial hardware and software is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Experience with teaching, public speaking and help desk experience is also preferred.
