Have you taken the necessary steps with your GPS radios to ensure that you are compliant with the FCC regulations that will change January 1st? In order to be compliant/legal, you need to get your existing GPS radios, both internal and external, converted over to narrowband. This means that if you are currently running with 25khz channel spacing (wideband), you need to be converted over to 12.5hkz (narrowband) by the end of this year. Not only will your radios need to be converted, you will also need to amend your current FCC license. This can be done by contacting a licensing company like Atlas Licensing. If you are unsure of this process and have any questions, please contact your local sales representative, or contact our Technical Support Staff at (888) 797-4774.
