Over the past couple days you have likely experienced issues accessing the MnCORS VRS network. The downtime of the network was caused by a migration of servers which introduced connection issues for the software. At this time MnDOT is comfortable in saying that the network is back up and functioning properly today. Please remember to check any field work that had been completed on 7-13-2016 for accuracy as it pertains to your project area. Some users have reported precisions from the network yesterday as being out of tolerance.
To continue migration of the MnDOT servers from a physical to virtual environment, the network may be unavailable for one or two 30-minute outages this evening (7-14-16) between 8:00pm and 11:00pm. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
